Kevin was in charge of dinner, and decided cole slaw would be just the thing to go with barbecued chicken thighs and steamed corn. He shredded cabbage and carrots, and then surveyed the shelves. There was a jar of pickled green tomatoes, and he thought it would be just the thing.
He chopped the tomatoes and poured the whole jar of brine into the slaw. He added some mayo and yogurt, along with salt, pepper, and a little sugar. It was addictively good.
