Our friends Dianne and Doug donated their fish share from the Community Supported Fishery they’re members of, since they were going out of town. It was a beautiful, whole hake.
We took it over to Les and Val’s house, and grilled it. I made a mess of Asian-style vegetables — an amalgam of ours, Les’s, and a few from the farmer’s market. Val made a salad out of their tomatoes and cucumbers. It was a lovely dinner.
