It’s officially summer because we harvested our very first tomatoes. Last year, we got them on July 8. This year, four days later.

Isn’t it amazing how fantastic home grown tomatoes taste? We have been getting a few here and there for the past 2 weeks!
Nothing finer than standing out in the garden and chowing down on those sungolds!
Sungolds are the best! They are the first and last tomatoes every year, and out produce every other plant in between. Of course, many don’t make it to the kitchen because I nibble one here, one there…
