Thursday is the day we take our oysters to New Bedford on their way to New York and, since it’s Les’s refrigerated van that makes the trip (Les also ships oysters to New York), we seem to conveniently end up at his house right around dinner time.  Also conveniently, Les has an excellent garden.  We raided it for eggplant, zucchini, peppers, basil, tomatoes, and parsley.
