Deep-fried turkey

It was Edith, who’d been in the freezer since last November.  We invited some friends over, including Doug and Dianne Langeland, who have some experience deep-frying turkeys, as well as a turkey fryer they were willing to lend.

I won’t go into great detail here, since I’m planning a proper post.  Suffice it to say that the turkey was excellent and the house is still standing.
