Romaine in chopped salad

Our romaine lettuce, which we planted in the cold frame on the last day of February, is thriving to the point where it made sense to take a couple small heads to make room for the larger ones.  I chopped them with yellow peppers, cucumber, and a sub-standard, out-of-season tomato.  It was good anyway — the no-fail mustard vinaigrette helped.
