Grilled striped bass!

The fish I caught (caught!) yielded three pounds of meat, and we had a few friends over for dinner.  Kevin started a big fire in the kettle grill and sauteed a mess of onions and peppers while it was hot.  Then, when it was cooler, he grilled the bass.  Meanwhile, I made a polenta with goat cheese and green chiles.  We served the onions and peppers over the polenta, with the fish and some pan-grilled asparagus.  Simple.  Delicious.

It’s an excellent feeling to feed yourself and your friends with a fish you caught yesterday.
