I’d never deviled eggs before, but I had promised to bring some to a party and I put out a Twitter APB for a recipe. Chez Us came through, and I made their version, with grainy mustard and a little bit of rice wine vinegar. Outstanding.
On the way to the party, we almost missed the turn and Kevin took a hard left. Most of the eggs ended up on the car floor, although I managed to salvage a few mangled ones that stayed on the plate. The downside is that we showed up empty-handed. The upside is deviled egg salad sandwiches for lunch tomorrow.
