Wild grapes

Since our jam session a couple weeks back, my friend Mary and I have been looking for something else to can.  Wild grapes grown all over the Cape, and this is their season, and we went looking for them with jelly in mind.  We found vines galore, but only a few paltry bunches of rather puny specimens.  Not nearly enough to can.  We ate a few, but they weren’t so good.

Somewhere, there’s a lovely, robust patch of grapes just loaded with fruit.  If you know where it is, could you let me know?
