Sorry about the blur ... they move fast

It’s been almost two weeks since we opened the Egg Pool for bidding, and no egg yet. As chosen dates come and go, eggless, the bids will fall off the list on the sidebar.

Meanwhile, lots of dates aren’t taken yet (although some are taken twice), and it’s not too late to take a chance at winning a dozen eggs by predicting the date of our first egg. So you know what you’re up against, here’s a picture of our most mature bird.

    1 October is free so I’ll go for that! Hens are sold as point of lay at 18-20 weeks, but it is always at least a fortnight before you get anything from them, and often longer, in my experience!
