One lone scallop

Recreational scalloping is an iffy proposition on the Cape, but we occasionally find a rogue scallop when we go clamming.  Today we found one beautiful specimen in Cotuit Bay, and I ate it, raw, right there and then.

We also had clams for dinner (Goan style), but clams are old news.
